The River Lilly Inn was a perfect find. We like to stay at facilities that have natural peacefulness and beauty. The photos on the web sight are true of what we found there. We stayed in the Sea Breeze room and enjoyed sitting on the veranda each morning before breakfast slowly starting the day with a newspaper and coffee. The serene beauty fed our souls and we were further nourished with a deliciously different breakfast each morning. Polly and Art are graciously accommodating in all respects. They wanted us to be comfortable. This is a B&B where men can feel comfortable too with its appropriate decorating. The natural landscape setting, the heart shaped pool, and quietness set a mood where time disappears for a wonderfully relaxing time. We would certainly come back and are recommending the River Lilly Inn to our friends.

We have lived less than an hour's drive away for more than two decades, but it wasn't until we discovered the River Lily that we came to truly appreciate the other Daytona. Our accommodations couldn't have been nicer, the food was excellent, and Art and Polly were most gracious hosts. They made us feel right at home. To enjoy and experience what Victorian life was like along the majestic Hallifax River, a visit to the River Lily is a must. We can't wait for our next visit!

Our time spent at the the River Lily was wonderful. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone. It was the most enjoyable weekend my husband and I have ever spent together since our honeymoon. It is extremely clean, the rooms are beautiful, the beds are extremely comfortable. We are going back to stay for out 14th anniversary, and we are counting down the days.

Dear Polly and Art, We had a wonderful time in your beautiful home. The welcome started as we approached the house. Lots of plants, hugh oak trees, the water fountain making beautiful sounds in harmony with the wind chimes. It primes you for the journey inside. Attention to detail is apparent. Beverages and snacks are available as well as a small library of books, games, and DVD's. Our room was welcoming. The skylights and bank of windows made it bright and cheerful. Also was fun gazing up at the FULL moon we were lucky enough to see.
Art and Polly's strong suit is the personal touch. Eager to make your stay perfect, they take the time to get to know how they can make that happen. Warm and friendly they quickly make you feel at home. You can't leave their table hungry. Big breakfasts every day that are just wonderful. We had such a relaxing time, we felt so refreshed by the time we had to leave. The huge comfy bed was hard to part with. Thanks for making our getaway so enjoyable. .God bless you.

It turned out even more beautiful than we imagined, and that is all thanks to your help and creativity. What a fabulous and wonderful place to come and get away from it all. Beautiful accommodations and great food. Polly and Art are great hosts and even went to the trouble to make our dinner at the Chart House restaurant an occasion to remember.

We had a wonderful time this past weekend while we attended the NCA/NDA Collegiate Nationals. It was very nice to escape the crazy 1,000's of college kids on the beach and relax at this beautiful house. The room and house was wonderful. The food delicious.. but the best part was the attention from Polly and Art. They are wonderful people and great hosts. We love the River Lily Inn and will stay again when we are in Daytona.

Dear Art & Polly, I wish words could sufficiently summarize how amazing it was to have our wedding at the River Lily. The beauty of your home is breathtaking. The water's view and big oaks that surround the house make it like something out of a fairy tale and it cast a beautiful setting for our very intimate sunset wedding ceremony. It wasn't just special to us- everyone commented on how beautiful and special it was to them. All of our guests were so comfortable as we shared food and drink together inside and on the outside grounds of your place.
Thank you for creating an atmosphere that is so unique, warm and inviting. We are so appreciative of everything that you both did to help us to prepare for the wedding. You recommended some fantastic people and worked with them all prior to the event to make everything come together perfectly. Things went so smooth and flowed together so nicely. How often do people get to say that nothing went wrong at their wedding? We are thankful that we get to!
Finally, staying the night at the River Lily with our friends and family was so awesome! We were all so comfortable and slept so well in your beds- we all thought the sheets were unbelievable! The icing on the cake was the breakfast that you both prepared for us all this morning. There was such a delicious variation of yummy breakfast foods and the attention to detail with things like fresh whipped cream, strawberry topping for the waffles, and fruit parfait were just a few of those details that made it so nice.
You two have really started something very special this year. The River Lily Inn will not be a "best kept secret" for long and we foresee many weddings in your future! It is not easy when planning a wedding to find a place, such as yours, that has that "wow" factor. Your place goes beyond that- it is truly amazing.
We had good expectations prior to our wedding, but you both exceeded them in every way. Thank you so very much, we really couldn't have asked for more! Please feel free to have anyone contact us who would like to know about our wedding experience. Thank you for everything Art and Polly. May all the good you did for us come back to you tenfold.
